Look what I caught!
I love spiders and spider webs, but it looks like this guy caught more than he expected. Where’s the rest of the bird?

Walking in the woods near our home one day we came across this very large femur. We’re not entirely sure what kind of creature it came from, nor how it got out of its body.

I found this wonderful black butterfly (moth?) outside one sunny, late summer afternoon. I absolutely love the coloring, with the little flecks of orange and red.
