The incredible, beautiful Donnottar Castle of northern Scotland.
This is actually one of my father’s photos; I haven’t been here since I was very little. It is one of my mother’s all-time favorite places in the world. I can see why.
Isn’t it gorgeous? It’s a total ruin, of course, but there are places – like Edinburgh Castle – that let you have weddings and events. It’s pretty awesome!
One of my son’s lived in Scotland for several years and I so wanted to move there. I would love to live in a place like that in the picture, with some upgrades of course..lol Beautiful photo!
Our dream was always to get married in a castle, but sadly it was not to be (it turns out castles cost quite a lot). If it were to be, though, it would have been somewhere like this.
beautiful….can I rent that for a month? lol

Seriously!
Where is it?
It’s just south of Aberdeen, in the northeast of Scotland. It’s an absolutely beautiful part of the world, in general.
