The Redemption of Erâth: Moving forward…into the past.

So…the dust is slowly settling, the realization that I I’ve written nearly 110,000 words in a coherent sequence (something I hear they call a “novel”) in sinking in, and while I am going to be taking a break to rest my fingers, I can’t help but feel sorry for you, my poor readers, that you will be deprived of my wondrous words (ha!).

So I have a special treat for you: starting next week, I will begin to publish the work that began this whole journey: the history of the world of Erâth, from its very creation, all the way until the events that take place in the story you have just read.

If you’ve been with me a while, you’ll recognize that this history was already published some time ago over on Satis, but I am sneaky, and have removed them from that site so as not to spoil the surprises (destinare got there, but don’t ask her!). It is a deep, expansive and breathing world; a world filled with life, and love, and darkness, and terrible tragedy. 1. I have yet to read the last chapter, I am saving it for one of those days that I need to escape, dont be upset that I am saving it, because you know and I know I will be depressed at the ending of book one.

  2. Satis, I came across this and it made me think of you and your book and i wanted to share this pic with you…i thought it was cool and i hope you like it…oh and feel free to use it if you want lol…ha ha ha

  3. A chorus of bells is ringing in my head. Either an ambulance got lost somewhere in there, or I got hit on the head with an Xbox (true story!), or… I’m just excited. Just excited. Oh wait, those bells are warning me that this may be spoiler-y, but then Tolkien did publish The Silmariilion after everything else, and it wasn’t particularly… spoiler-y…. Did I just make up a new adjective? Yes. Yes I did.

In less ramblinese- sweet! I’m looking forwards to this!

    • Oh, not to worry. There’s not much in the history that will give away any of the story, but it may help to understand some of the characters and words from Book One. Besides, this was all available before anyway, so I’m just giving everyone another chance to read through it!

Tell me something!
