You wouldn’t tell from this, but these empty arches are part of the ruins of Fountain’s Abbey in North Yorkshire. This is one of the most incredible places I know of in the world.

This walkway floods twice a day.

The walk to St. Michael’s Mount. The beaches are so level that this entire path floods to an impasse with every high tide.
