Um…I think the roof is missing.
You wouldn’t tell from this, but these empty arches are part of the ruins of Fountain’s Abbey in North Yorkshire. This is one of the most incredible places I know of in the world.
This walkway floods twice a day.
The walk to St. Michael’s Mount. The beaches are so level that this entire path floods to an impasse with every high tide.
About as far as the sun gets through the clouds most days in England…
A rare moment of sunlight on an otherwise gloomy road trip to Cornwall. I think the weather did improve by the time we got there, but I could be imagining it.
