You wouldn’t tell from this, but these empty arches are part of the ruins of Fountain’s Abbey in North Yorkshire. This is one of the most incredible places I know of in the world.

Poppies among Grecian ruins. This is one of my father’s photos from a trip to Greece. I very much wish now that I’d been there.
