This is one of my favorite shots. I love the way the little guy is silhouetted against the couch. I had to, er, dispose of him afterward, of course.

A moment in time – a solitary bee, hard at work.
This is from a trip to the wonderful gardens of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. The summertime flora on display there is astonishing, but the gem was when this little guy flew right into the picture as I was taking it.
