A moment in time – a solitary bee, hard at work.
This is from a trip to the wonderful gardens of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. The summertime flora on display there is astonishing, but the gem was when this little guy flew right into the picture as I was taking it.
Lots and lots of babies.
Did I ever mention that the aloe plant’s reproductive capabilities are second only to that of rabbits? This all started out as one small plant.
Our humble abode.
The home we lived in for five years in Sheffield. It had the most wonderful garden, and we were very sad to leave it.
