It’s a really big putty-tat.

Lions in a drive-through safari park. Truthfully it was kind of disappointing; bad weather, distant animals…I kind of felt sorry for them. The only real excitement was when the monkeys jumped on the car.

An old milestone on Strines Moor; one of the many ageless totems of the Peak District. In the snow, this was a lot more reliable than road markings.

He looks a little lost…

There were plenty of pheasants around where we lived, but we rarely came across them. This guy, on the other hand, came across us. Only our cat managed to convince him to leave our backyard.
