A high rise…all by itself.

This building in Montauk, New York, was built in the 20s/30s in anticipation of a large tourist community being built. It never happened, and it remained empty and abandoned for over fifty years. It’s now a series of apartments.

I love the silhouette of this plant.

When aloes bloom they produce the most intriguing flowers. These are in an early budding stage; later on they’ll droop and disseminate their pollen.

Did I ever mention that the aloe plant’s reproductive capabilities are second only to that of rabbits? This all started out as one small plant.
