After my decision to “re”-publish The Redemption of Erâth online last week, I realized that it would make sense to set up a publishing schedule, so that you, my delightful readers, know when to expect each new chapter to come.
When I first started writing the first book, Consolation, way back in 2012, I actually published each chapter as it was written – about once a week (that was back when I could actually motivate myself to write a chapter a week). Then, after I had the book edited and published digitally and in print, I pulled the original drafts from this site so that people who wanted to read The Redemption of Erâth could get the most polished, up-to-date version of the book possible.
However, I realize now that what I really want for The Redemption of Erâth is readers – not money. I’m not particularly interested in ‘making it’ big or getting publishing contracts; I really just want people to read my books. And whilst I’ll continue to keep the published editions available on Amazon and Apple Books, I will be making the entire series – even those parts that aren’t yet written – available here, forever.
To start with, I’ll be re-publishing the three existing books at a rate of a few chapters a week. Once I get caught up to where I am now with book four, I’ll move to publishing new chapters as they are written – hopefully again roughly once a week.
In the meantime, I’ll be publishing existing chapters as follows:
Tuesday – 1 chapter
Friday – 1 chapter
Sunday – 2 chapters
With 75 chapters already written and published (25 per book), this will take us easily to the end of March, 2022. Hopefully by then I’ll have been able to complete the first draft of book four, and can continue with the story as it gets written.
So stay tuned – the next two chapters of The Redemption of Erâth: Consolation are coming tomorrow morning for your reading pleasure! Until then, feel free to start at Chapter 1 now!
