It always amazes me how there are so many thousands of exceptionally specific tools for various jobs. In fact, there’s a whole subreddit dedicated to this.
Some great examples are the stubby nail eater, the spud wrench, or the pedestal sink slip joint wrench. And this weekend, I discovered a new one for the garden: the scuffle hoe.

Apparently it’s specifically designed to rake weeds and small plants from loose soil and graveled paths: it’s sharp edge cuts/pulls the weeds out, but the large hole allows the loose rocks to simply sift through it. It’s actually become incredibly useful in our own garden, and is really simple to use.
