One of the stops on our cruise that year was Nassau. There was a lot to enjoy about that very caribbean town, but there was also signs of weariness; the abandoned remains of a burned-out church, the once-beautiful mural now a sad, scarred shadow.

  1. I have a fascination with ruined buildings that I imagine is akin to people who wish to be coroners. Great picture! 🙂

    1. Same thing here – I just rarely get the chance to take pictures of them (usually I see them whilst driving for some reason). I was fascinated by this church, and the fact that no one had done anything about it.
