What an early bloom…
England would sometimes have the strangest blooms – even if snows and freezing weather were to come, there’d be the odd plant or tree that would decide to bud anyway.

Sorry to disappoint, but I was actually just using a point-and-shoot on automatic for that photo (it was about a year before I got my DSLR). Interesting point, though – I might think about including the technical details with these photo posts.
