I love the silhouette of this plant.
When aloes bloom they produce the most intriguing flowers. These are in an early budding stage; later on they’ll droop and disseminate their pollen.
What fun to explore the beach!
In April of 2009 we took a trip to the Isle of Wight. The beach at Ryde was really a very nice beach – April just isn’t the best time for sunbathing in England.

A closeup of the English cherry blossoms in our back yard. Amazing to think that they would grow into fruit that we couldn’t eat.
