It looks pretty, but I still wouldn’t skate on it.

This is only a small pond, frozen over completely. The really astonishing sight is when you see entire reservoirs completely solid. Yes – it gets cold here.

I know I’ve said it before, but I simply loved this house.

Another incredible sunrise from our house at the time. The sun rose late enough in that part of the world that I could catch these scenes as I left for work.
