The First Age of Erâth lasted for many years, and for much of it the world was prosperous. For the first time since the dawn of memory, the race of men was at peace with itself, and with the other races of Erâth, and with the world itself. Although there were many disparate countries, they worked together for the betterment of the world, and so the world was bettered, and grew fast and high.

Legends and Myths of Erâth: When Men Ruled Erâth

While the great races of Erâth debated and deliberated on the creating of the Ageless and the balance of the world, the race of men kept itself busy with a seemingly unquenchable thirst for blood. In the beginning, the early men spread out from the forests of Golgor, hunting and gathering their food, traveling with the wild packs and often fighting amongst themselves. They grew and they multiplied, and soon the forests of Golgor could no longer contain this growing population of folk.

Legends and Myths of Erâth: The Tale of the Ageless

In the earliest days, before men came to grow across all the world, all the dominions of Erâth were, as we know, in balance. Whilst men spilled each other’s blood for land and kingdoms, the other races of Erâth were largely peaceful, and for the greatest time did not interfere with the world of men. Men lived solely in Golgor at that time, to the east, and it was a large land: easy to hide, easy to avoid men.
