Wow.

This was one of the main reasons I was okay with leaving our wonderful England behind. All my life I have had an affinity for the New England autumn, and during our first one, I was not disappointed.

Look at that funny get-up!

Each year, folk gather at the Dey Mansion Museum in New Jersey to dress up in colonial garb, eat colonial food, and kill English people. This was one of the (many) temporary headquarters of our dear old General Washington, as he plotted to defeat the evil Brits.

What wonderful east coast colors!

The grounds of the Van Duyne House, in New Jersey. It has some historic significance, having been used by couriers during the American Revolution.
